A&E

A&E

Postby bee » Sun Mar 04, 2012 5:52 pm

There is a new A&E episode up on youtube (S3 E1) - posted by the same person who uploaded Alibi - so hopefully there is more to come. According to the NF site the episode in question is "middling Jack Turner".

Jack - "I can't see now."

"Stand on a box."

As Michael Kitchen is 5' 7" and Martin Shaw is 5' 8.5" there's not a great deal in it :D

Ha ha ha, me too, Amiga. Not exactly the same, but I was reminded by it of the eye thing he gives Andrew when he says he isn't allowed to tell him where he'll be based.

Heavens, though--I never watched ER or House or became inured, so I have a difficult time with the graphic operations in modern shows set in hospitals. When I must squint my eyes or peer through my fingers, I miss the subtle MK expressions!

Lots of lovely treats (and no cavities! )!

Question about the last scene in the consultants' office: Do you hear Robert, (Martin Shaw), saying "Michael" instead of "Jack" when he's asking Jack for a cigarette? I've replayed the scene (It's after 45:20) several times, and I can't be sure...... (but it's always nice to have an excuse to replay MK  )
Just looked over the chapter on "Horse Racing and Illegal Rambling."

I haven't got the requisite capacity for deceit.

No, he's not saying "Michael", he's saying "Can I have one?"

I think it's unlikely in the short term, Bee. ITV Encore is a Sky channel, and ITV iPlayer only delivers progs from ITV1,2,3,4 and CITV.
Do I need to remind you...how much you can trust me?

Great find, bee! However, I can't seem to get any of the youtube links to work - it just says "No video" - it can't have been removed already, surely?
Any ideas? :noidea:

I think you're referring to an old post, Kate. The eps that bee alerted to were available for only a short while; they were pounced on by the YT Powers That Be, and had to be removed. If you've got Sky, however, and are prepared to subscribe to the new channel, you'll be able to see the whole series on telly from 10th June.

Doh - I didn't realise ITV Encore was only available for Sky customers :eyeroll:

I should have mentioned it in my original post… apologies ladies

Ah, thanks, Lynnedean - just goes to show I should read more carefully before being too excited about the prospect of *finally* seeing MK in A&E
