How to add an Avatar to your profile and posts

To add an avatar to your profile and posts ...
(You might want to open two tabs in your browser, one with this message open, and the second with your Q.E. User Control Panel open to work in.)
1. Click on User Control Panel in the top left of the board's banner (top area of the page).
2. Click on the Profile tab across the top menu.
3. Click Edit avatar in the column on the left.
4. Click the Display gallery button at the bottom of the page.
5. Find the image that you want (there are 105 displayed), and click on the little button beneath it.*
6. When you've chosen your image on the gallery page, click Submit (the button is way down at the bottom below the gallery).
*Note that an avatar should be unique to the member using it, so do try to ensure that the one you fancy isn't already being used by someone else – to check, you could scroll through some of the most popular topic threads in various sections of the board.
