"Antipodean" is used in the UK to describe something or someone from, or related to, Australia/New Zealand, Sunshine. It's probably not a term that's used in the States. Folk in the UK refer to Australia and New Zealand as the Antipodes because they are situated on the opposite side of the earth from Europe.

Thanks for the explanation, Lynne.

I had to "google" it earlier.

I really can't tell from the clip - is it an Antipodean accent Mr. Kitchen is using?

The "fox" part I understood and agreed with.

Happy New Year, all! Enjoy Hacks.

Well, Murdoch is certainly Australian; I'm guessing Stanhope Feast is, too! :asking:
Just looked over the chapter on "Horse Racing and Illegal Rambling."

Dear Mr Foyle with an Australian accent and ten F-words a minute. Worth every penny the DVD will cost. See it if you can.

Just watched this show and this is the perfect description of it. Never heard MK cuss so much! :iamsmiling: Had to watch it for the accent, and it was a plausible one.
