The Collection

The Curtis Brown website seems to be running very slowly but I trawled through from the Home page via MK's agent and searched her client page. Didn't try them all but several did load eventually. MK's, however, no longer exists - so perhaps he has left!

Try this link and search for Mr. Kitchen: https://www.curtisbrown.co.uk/section/actors

ETA: Nope, that's not working. He doesn't even come up in a search of 'Michaels!' Has he left the Agency?!!!
Let me know if you have better luck!

Curiouser and curiouser. (Alice's comment is very appropriate when it comes to The Man!)

The search box just produces odd results for me, and nothing to do with Mr K. :-?

As the website is running slowly, it may be that it's being reworked and they haven't finished yet. If that's not the answer, and Mr K's info can't be found because it's just not there, then perhaps he has indeed changed his agent again ... or has simply called it a day and retired from acting, at least for the time being. I know the last is painful to contemplate, but it is a possibility, considering the way things have been going of late.

ETA: Taking a lead from HarperCurls, I found Mr K's agent's client list, but I did it via a Google search on her name. Here's the page - Curtis Brown: Oriana Elia clients. The photographs include one of Our Boy, but clicking on that photo results in only a 'this page isn't here any more' message.

But Mr. Kitchen is still here, so there's HOPE!

Is anyone watching 'The Collection'?
If the production is not a good one, and it was his agent that put his name forward, and then his role was cut, maybe that's reason enough for him to change agencies? Pure speculation on my part.
I guess we'll just have to keep an eye out for more news.

Suffering from total embarrassment here as I saw the Subject Title "The Collection" and thought it was about the Foyles War Dvd Collection

I had no idea MK was even in a new series as Im still very much immersed in my FW dvds and fanfic :D :obsessed:

But have to say, the thought of seeing MK in something completely new is highly exciting :pleased:
However from what Im reading here, MK's name has suddenly disappeared off the credits, and he is no longer listed with the acting agency that he was with previously. :puzzled:

Sounds like a possible falling out of some sort  .
Complete supposition on my part but perhaps MK wasn't all that happy with the direction that his character or indeed the Series was heading and simply decided to save face and sever all ties with it?

Maybe he was saying this as they told him his part was cut! Nah.....

He'll be back on screen in some form or other.

And he "makes" every show he's in.

Do you mean he looks dapper in the clip on the forum or you saw him in the show? So confused! Not from your statement, but by Mr. Kitchen.

In the actual show, he appeared in the third episode tonight (called The Scent). I posted some pics on tumblr:

Not sure where or why it would say his part was cut :noidea:

Aaand he's back in the cast list! But it still says only one episode.
Better than Allan Corduner, whose entry says "unknown episodes."

And it's on his own IMDb page, too.

Thanks, Jilly, mystery solved. Looks good...a little thinner perhaps. Can't say I'm crazy about the hat :D Now to figure out how to see it in the US.

Many thanks for the caps, Jilly.

So, he's there after all, and IMDb's just been doing the hokey cokey with the info. What a daft carry on.

If the series is not to be broadcast on a regular TV channel, those who don't subscribe to Amazon Prime won't see it. On the Radio Times website, however, someone from Amazon Video is quoted as saying, when announcing the September release date of the drama, that "Prime members will get a chance to see it before anyone else", which appears to indicate that it will eventually be made available to a wider audience. Personally I think IMDb is invariably incomplete. According to IMDb, it welcomes 'contributors' so maybe he was added last minute. Not sure if this would be his agency though.

But heigh ho, it's all good :D

The hokey cokey? That's a new one on me, and I thought I knew my British idioms!

Now, over here there's a dance of sorts called the "hokey pokey", but I'm dying to know what the "hokey cokey" is. Can you edjamacate your 'murrican cousins?
