According to the Radio Times (main UK TV listings mag for the BBC), Jack Whitehall appears in the new series Brian Pern: A Life In Rock. The likelihood is that Mr K's tormentor of twenty-two years ago doesn't have a scene with John Farrow; we won't know until the series airs, but the thought that he may have had to film with The Man during the making of Pern 2 is rather chuckalicious. :D

Radio Times article re Martin Freeman and Jack Whitehall in Pern 2 ... http://www.radiotimes.com/news/2014-11- ... fe-in-rock]

Adding to the amusement is the fact that Jack-the-Pest plays the younger version of Thotch keyboardist Tony Pebble (pronounced “Pebblay”), the character played by Nigel Havers, who, in real life, is his godfather. Hmn ... difficult to think that Whitehall Snr had no hand in the casting.

And for anyone who doesn't understand the Kitchen/Whitehall connection, you'll find it in the Michael Kitchen forum > General Conversation > Mr K: Awkward? Easy-going? The Evidence.

Thanks so much, Bee. Glad to see you back. This has improved my day considerably. He looks great in his blue stripped shirt

Slight gaping across the chest when he moves, but he's just teasing us.
Looks nice and tanned, don't he!?

Couldn't agree more, Lesley! What a tease!

He looks nice and healthy, which makes me happy, and his skin sets off his hair to perfection.

And the Fffarrow attitude is showing nicely!!

Like Prince Philip! NO NO NO! Bad enough being likened to Prince Charles in ' The House of Cards'. Love our Royal family but definitely don't want to think of them when watching M K in anything . Can't get the thought out of my head now , might go into meltdown
