A happy day

Hey there neighbour, what's new?

A happy day

Postby ayresorchids » Thu May 17, 2012 12:40 pm

Just want to boast that my dear husband is graduating today from George Mason University with a Master's degree in Social Work. He hopes to become a therapist. It has been a long two years (I've had very little time with him, really), but I couldn't be prouder of him (and he has been most understanding about the affair with Mr Kitchen).

Looks like A's across the board (nothing new for my Phi Beta Kappa) and we've got a glorious day for the convocation!
...And I do hope that you find somebody who deserves you.

Congratulations to both your husband and you! It's not easy to go back to school as an adult; it takes real determination. I hope you both have a great day!

Congratulations, Chris, and good luck to your husband as he continues to pursue his goal! To quote Mr. Foyle, "Well done." :pleased:

Many thanks, everyone! It was a very happy weekend with family, and now the graduate can relax for a while. Well, he can try, anyway (he's the opposite of his somewhat lazy wife)!
...And I do hope that you find somebody who deserves you.
