I'm a regular visitor to another blog, one that light-heartedly tracks the doings (and jewelry and fashion) of the world's royals. Most of it is pretty shallow stuff, but every now and then it touches on more significant issues.
A couple of weeks ago King Harald of Norway gave a speech at a garden party in which he outlined what he considered to be the values that define his country. It's so beautifully written (even in translation) and so applicable to all societies that I decided to share it here:
