Longing for autumn

Hey there neighbour, what's new?

Longing for autumn

Postby Samfan » Fri Jul 29, 2016 10:53 pm

Around this time every summer, my thoughts turn to...autumn. Can't wait for it to start being cooler. And in about a month, the trees will start changing color.

Gosh, Samfan, the sun is already lower in the sky but it feels as though summer has barely begun over here.
But, what does the brain matter....compared to the heart?

I think its the humidity. I hate it. Fall and winter are my favorite seasons.

I try to enjoy the Autumn, I do, but to me it means that nasty, long, dark Winter is on the way.

Like going to a party but knowing you have to clean out the chicken house after.

Besides the heat here, we have to start worrying about that annual game of Space Invaders known as the height of hurricane season!
Just looked over the chapter on "Horse Racing and Illegal Rambling."
