R.I.P. Great actor who will be missed.

No more great ones, please. There's the whole Kardashian clan that wouldn't be missed.

Another beautiful voice has left us - another chapter closed. R.I.P.
But, what does the brain matter....compared to the heart?

Hubby just broke the news to me about Alan. Another thing on my bucket list removed in the wrong way.

I confess I did wonder whether or not he was ill when I read that he's got married to his long time partner. They've been together for ages and he's publicly stated that he saw no need for marriage.

So sorry for his widow, but also for longtime friends Emma Thompson and JK Rowling, who are probably also very upset.

Lost for words now. :samcry:

Devastating news. So very sad. An exceptional talent and presence.
My son, a big fan of Rickman's voice (and his acting, and also a fan of David Bowie) texted me this morning, 'Nooooooooo.' and later added, 'It's time somebody solved this cancer thing, this is getting out of hand.'
Another loss to the world of culture and inspiring entertainment.

I'm a pole selector; I select poles.

So very, very sad! That voice, that beautiful voice silenced too soon. One of my favorite films of his (and one that does not often get mentioned) is "Something the Lord has Made", He was brilliant in his portrayal of Dr. A. Blalock. Sad week for loss.. Be well, everybody.
Well,um,he's...he's an American

Not interested in killing any Kardashians, just getting them out of the headlines....

But there are too many losses of the best.
Just looked over the chapter on "Horse Racing and Illegal Rambling."

I haven't got the requisite capacity for deceit.
