Swing for Christmas

Postby Lynnedean » Wed Dec 25, 2013 2:20 pm

Just when I thought that the only watchable thing on telly this Christmas Day would be the 800th Doctor Who episode this evening (yippee!), I discovered a programme of Big Band swing on BBC 2. Bliss! So, I'm sitting back watching/listening to a terrific swing band playing the oldies while sipping Baileys and waiting for Skype calls to come in, and looking forward to enjoying Christmas dinner at 4pm, meal cooked and dishes washed by someone else, then, in the evening, all the excitement of The Time of the Doctor ... hmn, rather a good day, this ...

Oh, sorry, nearly forgot to tell the name of the TV programme in case anyone is interested (little too much of the Baileys ... hic!). Anyway, for lovers of swing who can access the BBC iPlayer ... pop Swingin' Christmas into the iPlayer search box.
