I just finished listening to the House of Silk. I really enjoyed the reader (Derek Jacobi). It really was like listening to a Holmes story by Doyle. Horowitz certainly did remain true to the story (at least it seemed that way to me; I haven't ready a Holmes story for over 10 years). I got a bit confused at the end when Holmes was wrapping up and explaining what went on with Carstairs, his mother, and his wife. I think that's because it took me well over a month to listen to it all (I stopped in the middle to listen to holiday music

).
I highly recommend the audio version!
