Rachel Johnson, the sister of London mayor Boris Johnson, has written a book about British girls in Germany just before WWII. It's called Winter Games. The German Magazine Der Spielgel interviewed her:
The part about English Aristocrats being for Germany--reminded me of FW's The White Feather.
