Unman, Wittering & Zigo - original radio production

Postby Lynnedean » Thu Aug 24, 2017 6:01 pm

As the summer holidays draw to a close for schoolchildren in the UK, BBC Radio is broadcasting a selection of programmes under the heading of "Back to School" next week. One of the items is a repeat of the 1958 radio broadcast of the then new, and somewhat creepy, Giles Cooper play Unman, Wittering and Zigo, which will be available to hear on the BBC iPlayer (radio) from Saturday 26th: BBC iPlayer: Unman, Wittering and Zigo (1958)

Those who are familiar with the later 1971 film version but not the original drama may like to tune in and play 'spot the differences'. :D

I guess they didn't have a certain 10 year old playing Bungibine. Thank you for sharing, Lynne.
But, what does the brain matter....compared to the heart?
