Has anyone else read this series by Donna Ball? The first book is A Year on Ladybug Farm (2009). Its about 3 women who buy a house in the Shenandoah Valley in the U.S. state of Virginia. It tells of all the adventures they have trying to get the house into shape (and perhaps includes a ghost). Its just a nice story, with some quirky characters. I'm in the middle of the first book, and am looking forward to the others. My mother put me onto them:
