Perdita Weeks

Just to let you know that Perdita will play Clara in the new adaptation of Great Expectations (adapted by Downton Abbey writer Julian Fellowes) starting tonight on BBC1. She's also in the new Titanic series, also written by Mr. Fellowes.

Thanks for the heads up, Bee. Glad to see she is branching out a bit. I saw the ad for 'Titantic' the other night after the 'Downton Abbey' Christmas special, and it looks good. I mean, we all know how it ends, but I think the characters Fellowes has in mind could be quite interesting.

Nice article, and she and her big sister do look quite similar!

(The article also seems to confirm that HW will be back as Sam in Series 8! :samkiss: )
Just looked over the chapter on "Horse Racing and Illegal Rambling."

Perdita had a small role in Grantchester series 3 episode 7, as the mother of the young boy who goes missing. Good work as a repressed, sad wife of a philandering college professor.
Was there an issue with the lighting? In some scenes her hair was almost blonde and in others it was dark brown.
