Yes, the new Horowitz autosleuthography is out, and according to this writeup from a crime fan who just so happens to have witnessed Kitchen obsession up close (and stayed married to it :biggrin: ),
... he is confident enough to include a rather wonderful running joke involving Michael Kitchen, which is genuinely funny, affectionate enough to delight the Foyle fandom and straightforward enough for the general reader.

But we don’t care about “the general reader”, right? :pleased:
