War Games music

I'm working my way through the series chronologically -- what a treat! -- and one thing struck me tonight as I watched War Games.

Beck plays the organ in the church when Miss Pierce comes to talk to him, and I know I know the piece but I can't place it. It's German, but since it's classical organ music, well, that doesn't narrow it down much :eyeroll:

Anyone have any ideas?

It's Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring - the last movement of Bach's cantata Herz und Mund und Tat und Leben.

Ah! Thanks ever so much! That would have been bugging me for weeks. I shall now go listen to it
