Oooooh, I think we needed a warning before looking at the pics of those blue (or is it blue-grey) eyes again! Thanks, Lynne!
Just looked over the chapter on "Horse Racing and Illegal Rambling."

Typical  I just watched The Hide on ITV this evening, and I thought, 'Hang on, isn't that old Horowitz hiding his face under that big cap..?' and I rushed upstairs (well, as much as I can 'rush' anywhere) to comment here, and everyone already knows. Ah well, it was lovely to see MK's baby blues again... :foyle5:

Weren't they just? That last scene with James :foyle5: so beautifully nuanced, and those eyes... they melt the soul. You want to fold him to your breast and stroke the fuzz. :naughtybrow:

Going to have pleasant dreamz tonight.

Thank you for these, I just watched The Hide for the first time tonight, and it was nice to look through the caps.
I've watched all the other episodes long ago, but I just kept saving this one. So I feel a bit lost now. Having to wait for new Foyle. But at least I thought this was one of the best episodes. It was different, but very very touching. :cloud9:

And there's always Series 8 - don't know if the medium you are using (Netflix, Amazon, etc) has it but there is some yummy MK in Series 8. Some even prefer S8 to the Series that were set in Hastings

But not me.

Still, you wouldn't want to miss these three.

A lovely grouping of pictures highlighting one of the best Foyle episodes ever! I can never see this episode (or photos from this episode) too much...the depth of emotion expressed on MK's face is always amazing...but never more so than in The Hide. :cloud9:

Thank you very much for these. Will you post them on tumblr as well?

These caps were taken for posting on only this board in 2011, mohair; I don't have an account on Tumblr.

By the way, in case anyone thinks the character who appears with Sam and Adam in cap #23 is Foyle, it's not; the actor just has a similar profile to Mr K.

Thanks Jewell, but I have already seen S8, I just held back on The Hide, because I knew a bit about what was going to happen in it, plus it was the sad farewell to Hastings. And no, I also prefer the Hastings episodes very much. Find them much more cosy and warm. Maybe it's the setting, I don't know. Or the time it's set in.

Here is a fanfic based on the episode, hughsbeautiful, if that's any solace:

Jewell and I wrote it. :foyle5:
