ITV has just commissioned a new WWII series called Jambusters based on Julie Summer's book about the Women's Institute. It's early days yet, but this Radio Times blurb sounds promising!

Sounds great! I hope it will show in the US. The British writer Ken Follett has written most of his fiction set in WW 2. One of his books, Jackdaws, while fiction, is said to be based on what real women (French and British) did to help the war effort. I enjoyed all of his work. Do let us know when you hear of casting.

The series was released under the title "Home Fires," BWK, just to prevent any confusion when you're looking for it. It's worth watching.
