Oh, gosh, what if it were a sock?!

Then all we'd have to look at are those gorgeous blue eyes!

Maybe we've played the trouser thing to the max.....should we get back to the eyes...and maybe his acting once in a while?!

To think otherwise, boggles my mind!

Agree, EF, time to get back to the eyes, the mouth, the curls, etc. etc.

Not to worry EF, I recall some 'jiggling' on the trap in 'Fools of Fortune'... Don't think a sock can do that

OK, I know we've taken this vagabond trouser thing to the max, but one more thought before I call it quits on this thread (unless something else interesting pops up, like Jillybean's observation of 'jiggling' on the trap in 'Fools of Fortune'...have to check that out! Um...should I say "pops up"?).... :keepmum:

Anyone remember the old movie "Roxanne"? Well, in the bar scene when DC was coming up with "20 something betters" to describe his big nose, one that he came up with was: "it's not the SIZE of the nose that matters...it's what's IN IT that counts".

This line could be adapted for the No Man's Pants theme: "It's not the SIZE of the pants that matters...it's what's IN THEM that counts"!

Thought I'd stick this link here for reference to the 1975-77 production:
http://www.nothing-fancy.com/michaelkit ... re/nml.htm

The play opened in April 1975 with Michael Feast in the role of Foster at The Old Vic and Wyndham's.
Michael Kitchen then played the role of Foster from April 1976 at the Lyttelton and on tour in North America, until the play closed, back at the Lyttelton in Feb. 1977.

Sigh. Here at the Kennedy Center in December of '76, just one month before we moved back to Northern Virginia. Still, I didn't know who he was until 2010 and I fell for Foyle, so there's that...

Might have passed him in the street in NYC in 1976. Could have gone to see him, if I knew who he was  Wonder what I would have thought of that young man then. No question what I thought so many years later.
